I've had a jade plant for about six years now. It has survived all
sorts of neglect, and gets knocked over repeatedly. I've had it in
darker areas of my home and it has always grown fine. The only drawback
is that the edges of the leaves don't turn red when it doesn't get
enough light. I give mine a good soaking whenever it dries out
completely.
