I don't know if that idea about rearranging them after sneaking new ones in
is such a good one. They know just what you're doing, but they may not say
something right away. My husband recently accused me of being a "liberal
Incrementalist," (an insult that cut to the bone, I might say) because I
brought 2 KOI into the house!! Plus also, I saw these really cheap
raspberry bushes for $2 per bundle at Metropolitan Plant Exchange, so I
bought 2 bundles and stuck em in the ground, after I said I wasn't getting
anything else this year.
Also, does anybody know what this plant? My friend moved to Albuquerque
and had to part with some plants.
She told me to treat it like a cactus, but it looked pretty peaked when I
got it, so I gave it a big drink, and it looks great now. I figure to
let it get pretty dry before I give it another big drink. The tag on the
plant is written in not very neat letters, and I think it says Srilla
violacea. Any suggestions would be appreciated. It has pale green
leaves with darker green spots all over, and below the leaves are kind of
maroon, but more like a Japanese maple that starts out red and then fades
to green in the summer. Each part of the plant that grows from the soil
has a large fleshy lump at the base, so that's why I figured it would
appreciate a good drink now and then, to store up H2O.
I hope all your plants are doing fine, and that you are all as well.
