Lauren et al.,
Interesting. The ones I wrote about are still tooting along, plants
symmetrical and gorgeous, but little bloom. The only exception is one that
was green with gold variegation. It's blooming like crazy, even in that
Northern exposure. The interesting thing is that it has LOST all it's gold!
For some time now, new leaves have been entirely green. Also, rooted a
variegated leaf from this one successfully, producing five nice healthy
plants. But all of them sans variegation..O.K., so what is going on here?
The plant is in my office (I'm home starting a vacation today) so can't
tell you the varity name, but it has single flowers, lower three petal pale
lavender, with the upper two a darker shade of the same lavender. Really
pretty..Feed it on Schultz Instant for AV's...
The babies, plus a couple of other variegated varieties, are now at home,
some under lights, the mature plants in an east-facing bay window. I'm
curious to see what happens with more light like yours..>
P.S., Lauren. I shot a blank at you earlier, hit the send button by
mistake, sorry.
Gerry
