in addition to my bougainvillea and orchids, i have several euphorbias in
bloom.  this past april, i had gone to the connecticut cactus & succulent
show with my friends and bob smolley's gardens were selling the most
fantastic madagascan and southern african euphorbias and i just couldn't
resist, many were in bloom and they were gorgeous.  i ended up buying
Euphorbia viguieri, lophogona, ankarensis, neohumberti, bupleurifolia
from him and they are all in bloom right now in my firescape.  i also
have tirucalli 'sticks of fire,' which is unusal for turning red and
orange in bright light, pachypodioides and obesa.  after that shopping
frenzy that weekend, i couldn't buy any orchids at the orchid show in new
york which was that same weekend.  after all, i do have some
self-control...
