All I can think of is maybe the soil in your pot is missing some essential
trace mineral or nutrient. I'm clueless when it comes to vegetables. Maybe
someone on one of the GardenWeb forums could help you out, I think they have
a container forum and veggie forum. http://www.gardenweb.com
