Re: Plant I can't identify
Hi this is Helga again.
I have always found it looked like Rhoeo and
someone sent me a picture of them and it looks a lot like the ones in the
picture. I also have a picture of Rhoeo in two of my plant books and the
growth is the same but color of leaves is slightly different, perhaps because
mine isn't getting the right lighting?!? Also, mine doesn't flower! Do you
know at which period it is supposed to flower? (my books don't mention that)
And do you know if it takes many years before it flowers (like Strelitzia for
example) ? Perhaps is doesn't flower because I treated it like a foliage
houseplant when it is not. I haven't given it any restiong period. Anyways,
of all the suggestions I got, Rhoeo is the closest in resemblance. Not the
variegated form but the green form.
I would appreciate more info if you have the time and thank you for the info
you have already given me.
