  I live in Pennsylvania (zone 6) and keep bananas in the greenhouse (minimum of
60 degrees F) in the winter and lug them outdoors in the summer.  I hear they are
heavy feeders so if you want fruit, which is an uncertainty because of our
conditions, they have to be regularly fertilized during the summer growing
