[INDOOR-GARDENING:226] Transporting plants cross-country

I am moving from Illinois to New Jersey in about 10 days.  I will be driving
cross country over 2 days in a truck and need to know how best to
transport my plants so that they don't freeze to death+ACE-
The plants are very dear to me and I don't want to give them up.
