Hi all...
Need help with two plants that have outgrown their use as house plants.
One is an Australian Ivy-Palm, the other a Ficus benjamina. Both are
quite old, at least ten years, and they need to go somewhere, or we
won't be able to get in the house without a machete. From your
experience can you tell me how and where you have them outside and how
successful they are as outdoor plants. Your advice would be greatly
appreciated.
I live in Salinas, Ca, approx. 15-20 miles inland from Monterey. Our
climate is quite mild year-round, altho we do have a little frost from
time-to-time. Sunset shows us as Zone 15. The Salinas valley grows a
great deal of produce, which is shipped nation- wide
