Thanks for the info, Eve.

I belong to the gesneriphiles list, subscribe to 3 ges/AV mags and grow a
"lot" of gessies..

However, I'm a plant collector and have a lot of "orphans".

For example:
Stenandrium spp which seldom opens its buds but still manages to deposit
seeds in all nearby pots.

Serissa foetida variegata whose leaves constantly turn brown and crisp
although it sends out new ones all the time.

Sageretia (Chinese Sweet plum) whose leaves suddenly turned crisp although
they are still hanging on. I am hoping it will releaf but am afraid it's a
goner.
(Got some culture info on the bonsai list for these last two although I
didn't bonsai them.)

Erodium roseum which grows well but bloom is very sparse, only one or two at
a time.

Malpighia. It bloomed heavily several months ago, then dropped most of its
leaves and the new ones are very light colored all over, not just between
the veins.

Lisianthus. Catalogs say it takes 4 months from seed to bloom. Mine take 10!

Any help would be appreciated. This list is very useful but there must be a
lot of growers out there who are too busy growing to get on-line. I hoped
there was a means to contact them.

Just came back from the garden center, broke, of course. Am filling up my
outdoor garden with perennials. Getting too long in the tooth to get down
and plant annuals every year.

Good growing.
