If you're losing leaves on your Alocasias you might want to consider bottom
heat. I had several of these plants. Every winter they would lose leaves
and enter what appeared to be a dormant period. I put one of the plants on
top of a light fixture just to get it out of the way. It began growing again
shortly after and has remained in this spot for 3 years with no more dormancy
or leaf loss. It gets good indirect light, high humidity and bottom heat
from thelight fixture. I put the other Alocasias there also and they've been
growing very well since. Now, can somebody help me with themealy bugs from
hell?
