[INDOOR-GARDENING:395] Re: HELP WITH FERNS!!

I have two or three Boston Ferns.  They hang in the winter in the shady part 
of the greenhouse and in the summer under trees.  They get watered 1x or 2x 
per week.  Every year they get brown fronds.  I pull the leaves off these and 
compost them, leaving the long brown stem which I think look attractive 
hanging down.  If too much dies off, I seek the green growth, separate it 
from anything which has died and start a new plant.  They like acid
