Nancy: Foliar feeding is an option. But its not a subsitute for a good balanced fertilizer. Make sure the fertilizer is suitable for foliar spraying. Never use too strong foliar spray. Make sure the water is warm or you will get water spots on the leaves. I would suggest you try a foliar spray to perk up the yellowing leaves and start using a fertilizer that is higher in nitrogen and phosphorus (promotes blooming). If you are using a self-watering pot, you can miz the fertilizer to 1/4 strength and feed with every watering. Good luck Julie
