Tsuh Yang,
Thank so much for this info. I am amazed at the zone 4 location. I have a
small properly constructed rock garden and can certainly try Ramonda and
Haberlea. I have found several articles on columnea and streptocarpus in cool
environments so I will try both.
Two pots of bulbs are doing well for me, ornithogallum dubium and veltheima.
Veltheima has beautiful foliage and is reported to be "easy".
On blooming - euphorbia miliii or crown of thorns in the new hybrid forms is
everblooming and very compact. If you have winter lights it will grown and
bloom constantly. This euphorbia, under lights, will need a lot of water and
does not take a rest period.
