Hi,
Here's a few things I am doing to keep Spanky, Muffin, and Billie (cats)
out of my houseplants.
1.  Pine cones
2.  Unusual/jagged stones or rocks
3.  Take some clean packaging tape (2" wide) and tape it criss-crossing
across the container.  Remember, you must put the sticky side up....that
means you have to use other tape to tape it to the container...or turn
the packaging tape under.

Anyone having any luck with other techniques?
