Kathy, The way to keeping your Hibiscus in the best possible condition until next Spring is to give it the strongest light available. If possible, move it to the sunniest window. If they receive enough strong light they will bloom in the Winter months. Although they will be smaller and less frequent then outdoors. Mine have always bloomed their heads off for a period & then seem to rest before the next show. I wouldn't fertilize yours until Spring. Since you've recently repotted it, it should be fine until next year. Remember these are only my opinions. They work well under my growing conditions. Just DON"T overwater it--better it leans on the dry side until Spring. Steve Philbrick N.E. Ohio Zone 5

Before I forget- I'm in Zone 7- Gardendale, Alabama which is just N of Birmingham, Alabama. I think the Hibiscus is a single. By that I mean it's just one big flower with huge red petals. (Of course, it's got those big blooms all over it...) As you can probably tell, I know nothing about this plant. I bought it because I thought it was one of the most beautiful plants I'd ever seen! It hasn't bloomed at all for about the past month. Is that ok? Plant looks heathy for now. I haven't fertilized it lately either- could that be what stopped the blooms, or just the weather? BTW, thanks for answering my question! Kathy
