Re: aphids

Before I
waste a lot of time spraying with Murphy's Oil soap and water, is there
something more effective I should be using? This bug I've not had to
deal with before.

I had these buggers sucking up the leaves on my ficus.  I used the soap 
solution but didn't rid of them completely.  The next day, I bought an 
extract spray from mums, sprayed down the whole tree and the next day they 
were all gone.  I haven't had them since.
