Re: Peace lily getting enough water?

I read with interest your note on spathyphyllum and keeping those plants
moist, or else...  I have a peace lily that looks green and healthy but
hasn't bloomed with any flowers in two years.  I actually don't water it
that often because it has an amazing ability to retain moisture (it seems
to me!).  But is there also a dormant period during which I was supposed to
stop watering my plant?  Or do I keep watering all year-round?  I live in
an apartment in NYC, so seasonal fluctuations are pretty minimal (except
for the very dry air caused by my apartment's old heating system) - do
these conditions have any impact on my plant's flower-less-ness?
