It's good to finally hear of someone who has an interest in
stapeliads. Usually I meet people with one plant and that's enough for them
but I can't get enough of them! I have one mystery stapeliad maybe you can
identify. It's got light green stems, not furry (like orbea), toothed and
canary yellow flowers that look like they could be candy. Any idea? I only
got a cutting when I was in the southern end of the state so I'm really
hoping it will root.

Hehehe, I do that too! They take on various scents throughout their blooming

Oh geez now I'm never gonna sniff those flowers! (I admit I do! For some odd
reason I just have these urges to sniff them! Maybe it's because they're so
intricately colored.)
My stapelia hirstuta is on it's way of blooming. Any luck on producing the
"horned" seed pods?
