Flowering plants for low light

My lovely old house doesn't allow for many plants that require alot of direct
light and I'm looking for flowering plants that don't require alot of light,
and will bloom in winter. Picky, aren't I!

I'm rooting a few impatiens cuttings from my garden which I know will bloom in
the gloom through an Ottawa winter. Does anyone have any suggestions for
other low-light bloomers?

My collection of houseplants currently includes:

Direct light (South-west or East exposure):
- Christmas cactuses, oxalis (red leaf), cyclamens, variegated and green
english ivy, a Norfolk Island pine and several Iresine (my favourite foliage
plant)
Indirect bright light:
- Hoya, Devil's ivy, African violets, oxalis (green leaf)
Indirect, not very bright light:
More Devil's ivy, unknown variety of fern (which is suffering-needs more
light), small leaf trailing philodendron and the indestructable sansevaria

Looking for a permanent home in my dimly lit house: one peace lily (a gift).

Regards, Sheila
