Wow, Lysette, you're a brave one! Is a water coconut smaller? Because
coconut palms (cocos nucifera) get up to 95 feet high according to a
book I've got. Is the water coconut the one with the smooth shell?
I wonder how you would start one...I think in nature they float onto a beach
(or wherever they happen to land) and start on top of the sand unburied.
Maybe you could try laying it on a tub of wet sand to start it.
What a project! I can't even start an avocado.
