Cyclamen Seed to Share

From: Louise Parsons <parsont@peak.org>

HiDere! Me again :)

...free for the asking.
I have a bunch of leftover cyclamen seed to share even after distributing
some to seedlists. A single Cyclamen hederifolium plant that I have had
for more than thirty years produced via open-pollination more than
three-hundred seedpods. After the holidays I will try and get a picture or
two on my website. Ultimately this is not a plant for a trough, but they
do well in pots or containers for a very long time. "Grandma" has a tuber
the size of a dinner plate! ::smiles::

If you would like some seed, drop me (Not the list, please!) an e-mail
directly and include your snail mail address. Privacy is of course always
respected.

I will send out the seeds in the coming weeks with instructions for
germinating, but may wait until January to do so if our work does not slack
off quite as it usually does at this time. The seed is from 1999 but still
could take a year to germinate. The grandmama plant has beautifully marked
leaves and orchid pink flowers. Babies come in three flower colors: pink,
lavender-pink, and white.

Cheers, Louise
