Greetings all,
I haven't actually tried this yet, but have an idea for an inexpensive and
very lightweight trough.
I used to be really into tropical aquariums. I found the backgrounds you
purchased to put behind them horrid, so I would buy sheets of styrofoam and
spray paint them with one of those fancy spray paints that look like marble
or granite. The neat thing is that spray paint melts stryofoam, making it
look like real rock. So, I thought perhaps you could try the same thing
with one of those cheapo styrofoam coolers and skip the hypertufa
altogether. It wouldn't be extremely sturdy if you wanted to move it alot,
but it should hold up for awhile and it would be "weatherproof"
If someone tries it please let us all know. If I get to it I will try it
this summer.
Grow well,
Amber
