usefullness of list and christmas cactus

Hello all - In general, I'm a "lurker" who tends to read and appreciate
but seldom posts.  I enjoy the site posting function of the list but
would also enjoy gardening related postings.  Perhaps the time of year
has something to do with the lack of posts as I notice on other lists,
the OT messages have been more prominent during the North American
winter.  Let's see what happens as winter marches on and spring
approaches.

Now, for my question.  I just recently won a small christmas cactus
(dark pink flowers) and have no idea how to care for it and make sure it
continues to bloom.  I also have no idea which variety it is as there
was no such information included with the plant.  Help!!
