Dear List,
My sister has this Hybrid Tea rose with her first year in AZ.
The rose was planted just about a month ago from a pot. I do remember
hearing this "buds dropping" before, but I can't recall what the problem is!
Please jog my memory?
She's amended her clay/alkiline soil with compost and gypsum.
(my sister's letter)
>I've got a problem with my Mr. Lincoln; he gets nice
>and bushy, looks very healthy, gets plenty of water and food but, then he
>puts out nice pretty buds and just before they start to
>open they just wilt over and die. WHAT? is that all about? He gets enough
>water but looks thirsty to me........... how can that be? it has been warm
>but I've soaked him twice a week. Do you think, he needs more water? The
>other roses in that same bed are doing just fine with the same amounts of
>water. Any ideas?
Thank You,
~Carleen~
