[Rose-list] Pat Austin

Hello all,  isn't it wonderful to be all achey and tired?  I love it.  

Question:  is Pat Austin a tender, fragile beauty?  We've had two
wonderfully mild winters and I thought perhaps the loss of the first one
was due to something I did/not do.  I replaced it last spring and this one
didn't survive either.   Haven't lost any other roses.   Both were first
year plants, but I have at least six other first year plants which are
doing extremely well.
