Hello all. I just subscribed and am trying to find some
information on my old-species Austrian Copper Rose.
It only blooms once in June and then grows leaves and stems for
the remainder of the season. My question is this. The new-growth
stems I have are coming out of the ground (not from existing
branches), and the leaves are bigger and shaped differently than
the current leaves . . . . . Am I getting stock growth from the
bottom or is this the way this species acts? I have only had this
plant for two years and this is the first time I've seen this
happen . . . . . . any help would be greatly appreciated.
