Yes, she is a short climber, 8-10 ft. Mine is 2
years old (from a 2 year plant -- caught me in
my impatience here) and she is about 6-7'. You
won't believe the flowers and fragrance. She
actually is almost never without some bloom
from spring on. Another charming aspect of her
is the flowers tend to nod down -- perfect for a
small arch (which is where I have her).
FYI - here in the PNW most of the Bourbon
roses require that defoliating after spring flush
thing I explained earlier.

Susan, thank you for the help on Golden
Showers. I did not know that Mme.
Isaac Pereire produced a fall flush. I thought it
was a once bloomer. I
have just planted a small start from HOGR, and
it has already produced 3
long thin floppy canes, about 3 feet long. It
makes me think they sent me
the wrong thing, a climber perhaps? I won't
know until next summer. Does
this habit sound right for Mme Isaac Pereire?
