Hi roseholics!
Have to choose some roses to cover a long white iron gate. I need GOOD
foliage and lots of flowers, if possible fragrant and repeating. After
looking at the NZ rose page I felt in love with CLAIRE JACQUIER, and I'm
thinking about using in as the main rose, but need some others for
variation. What would you select from the following: 'Aimée Vibert',
'Albéric Barbier (though summer flowering, but what a great shiny
foliage...), 'Belle Vichysoise', 'Bouquet d'Or', 'Céline Forestier',
'Marechal Niel', 'Mme. Alfred Carrière', 'New Dawn'. You see... most are on
the yellow shades. I would appreciate some glowing red suggetsions to go
into this gate (what about, for example, 'Paul's Scarlet'?. Or
'Altissimo'?. Hope you can help me to cover this gate into a gorgeous wall
of flowers...
Jose
