RE: Fertilizing

Remember, the reason you have the mushroom compost is because the supplier
thinks all the nutrients are gone!

Use organic fertilizers if you wish, but just remember that the organic
chemicals must be converted to the chemicals that are in the inorganic
fertilizer before they become available to the roses.  Be sure you are
providing a reasonably balanced combination of Nitrogen, Phospherous and
Potasium along with ocasional trace elements.  A squirt of Miricle Grow for
Roses or similiar every 6 weeks will give them that.

Of course, the organics provide compost.
