I went out into my back yard and looked at the raised herb bed with the
hope of
locating a spot to plant a variety of rose then read about the various
cultivars and asked about a specific space dimension for a Nur Mahal and --
Uh Oh -- perhaps that space is too small for that particular rose. Does
anyone
have any suggestions for patio roses and/or small OGR's that would do well
in a
somewhat smaller space which have good culinary value? I am looking more
toward
using the petals rather than the hips as no one has been able to suggest a
hip
rose that doesn't need a good hard freeze or cold snap to ripen. We don't
usually
have those here in Houston.
