Hey, everyone!
I was wondering if anyone could tell me anything about the "Diamond
Jubilee" Rose. A while ago, I purchased a deep yellow, very fragrant
rose bearing the name "Diamond Jubilee" but received no information about
it. There were several more at the store like this one, but this year I
haven't seen any. No rose book describes this wonderful rose.
Recently, I discovered that Better Homes and Gardens is marketing a
rose by the same name, however theirs is raspberry and white. Was my
rose mis-labeled?
(I would highly recommend this rose--it has survived miraculously, after
being planted on a hill, with rocky, clay soil, surrounded by evergreens,
in partial shade!) :)
Any info. would be very much appreciated! I really love this rose!
Also, is anyone familiar with micro-minis? What names have been given to
the generic whites, pinks and reds? Is there any special care they need?
Thanks in advance,
Susan
