sudden temp drop

Hello everyone,

I'm mostly a lurker, but I have a question.  

I have an old, root stock rose that I mulched very well this past fall
and we had tons of snow in January before it was extremly cold.  Well
for the past couple days it has been in the 40-50's and today it poured
rain all day.  A lot of our snow is gone including the protective cover
on the roses.  This morning at 5:00 am it was 54 degrees, tonight it is
-20 windchill.  Since all of the snow is gone, will this hurt my roses?
