Pickering Nurseries offers Deuil de Paul Fountaine. They are located in
Canada at 670 Kingston Road, Pickering Canada L1V 1A6; tel: 905-839-2111,
FAX 905 839 4807. Plants are excellent. No affliation, just a satisfied
customer. Did your horror stories indicate that the rose (Deuil de Paul
Fountaine) is difficult to grow or just to obtain? Also Heritage rose
indicates that you NEED to spray Baron Girod de l'Ain. Was this true for
you? I fear that I have already filled this rose bed and have others I
will want. I have some shrubs in front of the chain link for my dog run
and will be replacing a dying barberry with a Rosarie de l'Hay. I figure
this just lays the ground work for putting more roses in that spot!!!
Have you any experience with Rotes Meer?
Thanks,
Denise
