Hi Dawn,
Deer usually don't care for Rugosas, but they love nearly everything
else.
'The Fairy' is rather cute little pink, profuse and continuous
bloomer. It's the only one I have and I didn't get any blackspot.
Generally roses of any given cultivar (rather than class) can or many
have a blackspot problem or resistance. It can sometimes depend on
your area too. So as to say, 'The Fairy' (cultivar) may or many not
be susceptible to a specific disease, but that doesn't mean that
Floribundas (the class) are susceptible as a group.
