I'm from the North Island in New Zealand and at the moment we are
technically in the middle of winter. However the temperatures have been so
unnaturally warm that most people have roses still blooming!!!!
The most satisfying rose from last summer for me was David Austin's
Perdita - constantly in bloom with a lovely perfume.
The least satisfying has been Royal Amethyst - hardly any blooms and
virtually no growth.

I'm glad to see this list get some life back into it.
So, here's the questions:
Which rose have you been most satisified with, this growing season?
Which rose has been the least satisfactory?
For myself, the best has been David Austin's 'Mary Rose'. Wonderful shrub,
loaded with foliage and bloom from top to bottom. I can't judge the worst,
yet.
