I've been touring some local (kind of) gardens and saw several roses that
are just wonderful... 'Bobbie James' is spectacular and what a lovely
fragrance... saw him at two different gardens and both were HUGE... got to
find room for this one.
Also saw a delightful blooming rugosa 'Sir Thomas Lipton', very nice.
Anyone have comments on this one?
I have rugosas 'F.J.Grootendorst' and 'Topaz Jewel' and these two are Heavy
in blooms... but my 'Hansa' and 'Blanc double de Courbert' are blooming, but
just sparely. Could it be that they need time to establish? They look
healthy and are just a year old.
Sincerely,
~Carleen~
