hello to all-i'm a long time reader and first-time questioner.
i have made several rose cuttings. i did as was prescribed on this list. i
cut the stalk, dipped in root hormone, placed in a shady spot outside, and
covered it with a glass jar.
after a week or so, new shoots began coming from the cutting. after a
period of time, they were outgrowing the jar so i removed the jar.
now to the problem: the new shoots seem to be drooping oftentimes. i will
say they are in some sun in afternoon although it is filtered. i have
watered them before when they wilted and they perked up. however, i'm
wondering what i'm doing wrong?
any help or suggestions from all of you experienced rose-growers?
tia-karen (zone 10b or 11), so. cal.
