Please post response to the list. I always
assumed this was normal leaf loss. Wouldn't a
balanced organic rose fertilizer (specifically
Whitney Farms) contain trace elements, etc?

I have just planted a new garden with Old
and English own-root roses. I am having
some yellow, fall off at the touch, leaves.
They are not blotchy or spotted. One book
tells me this is iron deficiencies.
Can it be anything else ?
What should I do about it ?
