We have been having hot (for here) weather, in the high 20's C. Our roses 3
that I don't know what they are, are blooming beautifully. Two have
prickles, the white and deep rose, and mega petals (any more and it would
look more like peony - but much smaller) . and the third is a pink rose with
no thorns and almost as many petals.
I have one odd thing happening just now. When I was checking and dead
heading the roses I noticed a growth about the size of an apple (and green
like a green apple), does anyone know what it is and should I do anything
about it?
These roses were planted in the late 1940's or early 1950,s. The white and
pale pink
Roses have sent out all kinds of new plants and I have been transplanting
them around the property, The grow like crazy and don't seem to need much
help.... and the smell is heavenly. We are in a Zone 2-B area just
north-east of Dawson Creek , B.C. Canada.
