Hi Donna,
Oh yes, most yuky smelling.. DON'T put your nose up to it... THINK sweet
blooming ROSES. :-)
This will be my third year buying the stuff. I usually buy it 5 gallons at
a time when it's on sale. I recall that one gallon will fertilize about 80
roses, once.
OH.... I do recall they came out with a pellet form just last year, I nearly
forgot. I've not used it yet, wonder if the smell is less, surely you would
want to mulch a little over top or work it into the soil, wonder if my dog
would take to digging in the garden. Hum...
Has anyone tryed the pellet form of Fish Emulsion yet?
I have tryed putting a glob in a sprayer with hose applicator, but it didn't
work for me. I thought I would try MIXING it up in my husband's 100 gallon
sprayer and wheel barrow it about the garden using it as a foliar feed.
Have to check out the details from Husband, perhaps a wheelbarrow is wishful
thinking. He usually hauls it on his tractor, hum... and a battery. Hum...
I'll have to research this a little better, or it's back to the bucket, or
the pellets.
Yummy weather!!! Send me some more, two days here in Oregon was just a
teaser . :-P
