Hello Javier:
yes this is very true. It is probably one of the reasons why those lists of
"resistant roses" don't always pan out.
Another reason may be that different people have different tolerance levels
for the disease symptoms that their roses DO get.
We don't spray any of our own roses for diseases at all and we don't see any
significant diseases that bother us.
But we are pretty tolerant of symptoms, too.
So over the course of years we have ended up with roses that are disease
resistant for our purposes HERE. But that doesn't mean they will be
resistant to someone else, somewhere else.
