I grow 'Rose de Rescht' here in Oregon and it's never with disease, always
blooming, petite, delightfully formed rose with good foliage. The dark
fushcia flower isn't spectacular, but cute and lightly fragrant.
My Gallica offininallis does get powdery mildew after blooming.
I would love to get seeds and plants from the Thomas Jefferson Gardens, last
I checked their website was having troubles. I'll look again.
