My message was intended to recommend planting the Gallicas under the apple
trees because the roses planted there should be a variety that does not
require spraying, in other worlds, resistant to the various fungal deseases.
The roses, Albas or otherwise with not have a problem with sprays applied to
the apple tree. My concern is the spraying of edible crops with chemicals in
a concentration or frequency not recommended for food crops.
