Dear Valerie,
Both of my sisters have a hedge of Simplicity.
One is of the red variety and the other is the
pink. They have both been very pleased with
them (about 5 years). They need full sun and
frequent feedings to keep them blooming all
season long. They are very hardy and more
disease-resistant than your usual Hybrid Teas.
The hedge that was fed regularly (she used
'Miracle Grow" every two weeks) you could
hardly see threw. I believe they are only
about four feet tall. Both of these hedges
are grown in the Portland, Oregon area.
Zone 8.
Sincerely,
Carleen
