Re: Bug or disease?


The leaf curl at this time of year is probably aphids - the warm el-nino
weather has brought them out in droves - look of small brown spots on the
leaves as well. Aphids prefer the flower buds, but if they arrive before the
buds do, the leaves "get it!" Midges can also cause these symptoms, but they
usually appear much later in the season.
