[Rose-list] Polyantha - "The Fairy"

Hi-
        I'm new to this list but did search the archives and
didn't see this topic.  I'd like to have a small hedge or
almost hedge of Polyantha Roses - "The Fairy".  I've seen
conflicting information about the height and width of this
rose.  If I want the plants to almost merge together in
a hedge (I don't care if you can just distinguish individual
plants but don't want large spaces between them), how close
together should I plant?  I'm in zone 5 -- Denver, Colorado.
