Shrub roses

Ten years ago I bought 3 small "pink" shrub roses.
When they grew and finally bloomed they were white.
Every year I prune off 3 feet and they grow back and
bloom profusely. This year they were over 18 feet
tall so I finally got out the pruners and thinned them
out. It took an entire day to do this. The next two
days I spent cutting the prunned canes into 8" pieces
and filled 6 garbage bags full. I left the height so
they will still look graceful and there are still lots
of buds left on the remaining canes. It looks quite
dramatic as the space around the rose shrubs has
opened up immensely and the sun now filters through.
Now I can plant climbers behind the canes to cover an
otherwise ugly chain link fence covering a 6 foot
corregated steel fence. Any suggestions for a fast
growing climber that with accentuate the roses and
hide the hideous fencing?
