Well up here north of the border, mine are holding in the bud stage too,
although it is early for most of them to be in bud. And if you could
send some of your rain this way, I'd certainly appreciate it- haven't
had any in almost three weeks and it's looking like being a very dry
summer. Fortunately I have a lot of mulch down and will be putting down
even more. Thanks to the very mild winter all but one of my roses came
through without any protection at all- and I think that one was the
horrible orange grandiflora the boss bought despite my protests. I
guess I'll be sure when the buds finally do open-we had to move a lot of
roses this past fall when the yard was dug up for a new septic bed, and
of course the tags got lost in the move.
