Bob, would love to send the rain your
way. Been overcast or rain since the
1st of May. Wonderful for my garden as
(in the first week)I had just tilled and
planted my now 62 roses, small trees,
shrubs and perennials in 4000 sq ft.
We usually expect about 2 inches of rain,
but had 7 inches instead. Ich..
Since most of my roses are new, they are
slow, and buds are about to open. Others
I have talked to may loose theirs to soggy
buds due to rain.. Take some, please..
(looks like another week of the stuff)
I bought some mulch but have no dry days
to apply or need of it yet.
I had brought some of my "found" roses
with me from our old home. Winter was
fine, but my sheep discovered them, and
pruned them more that I would.
Bummer on your "revised" beds. Could be
fun with "mystery" roses.
